AfriSam empowers local entrepreneurs | Roodepoort Record

 

AfriSam (a provider of construction materials) offered totally free organization skills training to 24 nearby business owners. Their graduation ceremony was held on Friday, 28 June at the AfriSam Company Development Centre.

In accordance Jabu, AfriSam’s Organization and Provider Development Programme identifies, empowers and enhances the capacities of black-owned SMMEs that operate in close proximity to the company’s functions. Another essential purpose of the programme is to offer the business people with the necessary support and develop them to expand their corporations and in the long run be involved in AfriSam’s database of registered suppliers.

AfriSam chosen 24 black SMMEs from communities near to its Eikenhof and Roodepoort functions for the coaching programme. The entrepreneurs ended up from unique industries ranging from catering, construction and property progress.”The training was extremely beneficial to me since it included a selection of subjects this sort of as starting off a enterprise and sustaining it, as well as handling the finances. I have also learnt how to do my firm profile. I will be ready to go back again to my local community and use the unemployed youth,” stated Bram Fischerville entrepreneur, Peter Molete.
